Bit of a late start from us here at SUMO, but safe to say we open 2010 with a bang! Our first guest of the new year doesn't need much of an introduction to many of you SUMO regulars, having been a firm favourite since the early years. But now highly recognised as one of the eilte producers & djs in the techfunk non-genre, we bring back, VANDAL!
Since his last SUMO set Vandal has taken his beats all over the planet, playing shows in countries like South Korea, USA, Russia, Estonia, China, Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Ireland, Ukraine and Spain. As well as a Berlin residency which is now in it's third year, there's also the 10 Fabric appearances he's snuck under his belt.
Currently pushing his new label BENEFIT Records and still chucking out killer after killer on LOT49 Records, there's no arguing VANDAL has had a busy 2009. With debut album coming out on LOT49 there's definitely no disputing 2010 is gonna be an even bigger year for him if he carries on this trend. So make sure you're in attendance at SUMO's new home UNDERTONE and brace yourselves for some heavy ass techfunk from VANDAL!
