Live in Leith, Edinburgh
WHAT A LINE UP This night we have something for everyone and promise to impress, tonight will see clubbers and concert connoisseurs meet in the same Venue for a night of genre infusion.
This night will take Live In Leith to new heights with Super Scientists headlining the event, performing sax, violin, 808s and 303s live, with a unique style of mad tech funk, two massive projection screens A visually magnificent experience not to be missed with all scientists dressed accordingly. Followed then by the well respected Cymbal whos style is described as connoisseur tech / Detriot electro, In the past two years the pair have released two 12 EPs on independent labels from Edinburgh and Glasgow which sold throughout the UK, Europe and America, Using a combination of sequencers, synths and drum machines they generate a continuous live performance. Supporting acts include The Chase and Page 6 ,2 very ambitious inspiring young bands, who are pushing the boundaries of the indie / rock genre, The Chase hailing from Linlithgow, an electric sound playing some inspired homegrown tracks now on their first recognition tour of Scotland. Page 6 are a relatively new band to the Scottish music scene but have achieved a modest level of success since their formation in October 2002, having successfully built up a loyal fan base in and around Dundee, the band is now trying to focus on establishing itself further afield including Edinburgh & Glasgow.
Commplex Promotions have put a fantastic programme together for the rest of the year, including Thurs, Fri and Sat night Gigs, with some of the Best bands from around Scotland, the nights will differ in genre to ensure variety.
