Fun (& easy to learn) tutored classes from 7pm, plus ''SOCIAL DANCING'' from 9pm - EVERYBODY welcome!
''SHOE SWING'' is held every Wednesday night at The Counting House [32a West Nicholson Street], a really lovely little venue with (joy-of-joys) a floor that's perfect for dancers!
Come along on any Wednesday night for lessons and/or 'social dancing' and enjoy the friendliest atmosphere for swing-dancers, Lindy-Hoppers, Jivers and music-lovers anywhere in Edinburgh - you'll love it!
NO NEED TO BOOK! Just turn up - you don't have to bring a partner, as there's always plenty of people to dance with. And there's no 'dress code', although loose & comfortable clothing is recommended [some people like to 'dress-up', though!].

EVERYONE is welcome at this night, which is dedicated to swing/lindy hop/jive & 'partner' dancing... Easy-to-learn (and FUN!) tutored lessons/workshops are run each week from 7pm till 8pm for 'beginners', and from 8pm to 9pm for 'improvers' (*). followed by ''SOCIAL DANCING'' from 9pm (**) with DJ LENNY LOVE (aka 'Dino Martini' from award-winning club ''VEGAS!'', including a 30 minute set from a 'guest DJ' each week.

At 9:00pm, 'social dancing' starts! This is when you can practice new-found skills, strut-your-stuff and dance the night away, or simply sit back, chat with like-minded people, have a drink, snap your fingers & tap your toes while you enjoy the coolest, grooviest music on this swingin' green sphere.
