ABOUT TYRO CARTEL:
Tyro Cartel are surely ones to watch in 2005 - if you’re a fan of live rock then you really need look no further. Formerly the Dukes of Dirt, this 5-piece have regrouped over the cold dark winter months with a more mature sound, and a more serious outlook on taking their sound onto the national level.
This tightly woven six piece dominate the stage with precision-guided rock/funk riffs, mellow keys and groove driven drums to produce a sound that is 100% fresh.
Sharp song writing coupled with contagious enthusiasm for performing live has already given them a sound reputation in the local area. The next stage is to build on a promising start and take the music out to a wider audience…

ABOUT ZONE LIVE:
The live acts will perform on stage in Room One (Inferno) at Zone/Club UK, which opens at 10pm with live acts expected to be on stage between 10,30 and 11pm (see individual listings). After the performance the room reverts back to the usual ZONE format with all your favourite DJ's and guests performing.
Room 2 (Pergotry) will open as normal at 10pm for those of you who want to interchange between live and DJ sets, and for our regular "Hard Alternative" patrons
ZONE LIVE Gig entry tickets include free entry to the club event - i.e. you can stay at ZONE/Club UK after the performance and continue enjoying our DJ and take advantage of our ludicrous drinks offers etc. Note that ZONE LIVE tickets are usually £5 (ZONE concessions DO NOT apply to the live part of the event).
Tickets are available from Bristol Ticketshop, Replay Records, and Club UK (and can also be bought at the door).
