PRIME CUTS (SCRATCH PERVERTS)
ITF World Scratch Champion twice in succession (1999/2000), DMC Team World Champion (Scratch Perverts) in 1999 and UK DMC Champion 1998 (cheated of victory in 1996!). As an integral member of the UK’s premier DJ collective, Prime Cuts and the Scratch Perverts have diversified from club/battle DJing to recording artists in their own right. Remixes for names like De La Soul, Ian Brown and Howie B, last year’s 12-inch “Come Get It” (feat. MC Dynamite), whilst in the near future, a (long-awaited) debut album and a forthcoming fabric mix cd (Fabriclive.22). Notorious for party-rocking sets, check out Prime Cuts on the mix compilation, “Hip-Hop Don’t Stop – The Greatest”.
